40 years of Stilus A history of tradition, writing and innovation

THE MEANING OF STILUS

Stilus – the name was coined from one of the first products in the portfolio; «Chalana» a slim fountain pen from Japan, from the historic Sailor company. The stilus, or writing pen, is an ancient writing instrument that was mainly used to write on wax tablets. The stilus had a pointed end for "writing" and a flat side for erasing "with the smoothing of the wax".
