The IPFX-D40V-IRW2 is another variant of IC Realtime's state-of-the-art FlexSmartAi 4MP dome camera, using the latest generation of our Starlight video chipset. This massive 2.7" CMOS video sensor offers incredible 0.005 lux@ performance in low-light conditions, and then drives the D40V's SmartIR lighting to deliver reliable video even at 0.00 lux in the dark. The D40V is manufactured in South Korea and is TAA compliant.

The D40V's adjustable field of view makes it ideal for retail, commercial, school and residential video surveillance installations. With a remote motorised zoom lens from 2.7-13.5mm, the D40V's field of view can be adjusted from 104° at 2.7mm to 28° at full 13.5mm zoom. The flexibility of the D40V allows you to set the perfect shot directly from the NVR's local monitor, via our free ICRSS software for PC or Mac, or from the IC View or Dash app in the palm of your hand.

There are both alarm connections (In @ 5mA 5VDC/Out @ 300mA 12VDC) and Audio In & Out RCA jacks directly on the camera head. These connections allow for audio monitoring and connection to an alarm system.

The IPFX-D40V's native 4MP resolution (2688 x 1520) enables high-definition video. The camera's FlexSmartAi system enhances both camera- and NVR-based Intelligent Motion Detection (IMD) and IVS Tripwire performance through Deep Learning and AI-powered detection for 90% fewer false alarms.

The IPFX-D40V uses scene-adaptive H.265 compression for flexible, intelligent noise reduction and multi-frame video compression, saving up to 70% in bandwidth and storage compared to standard H.265. The D40V also enables local recording with an internal 256GB SD card slot and is ONVIF, PSIA, CGI and P2P compatible. If a 9.8 Watt PoE power supply is not available, the D40V can be powered by 12 VDC. The D40V has multiple electromagnetic and electrical certifications, including UL and FCC.

The metal housing is IP67 rated and IK10 shock rated, so it can withstand the force of 11 lbs. from a height of 15.75 inches.
