We listened to our customers and designed the professional and perfect 8-channel 4K NVR in a slim, clean rack-mount enclosure that will quickly become the ideal NVR for professional installers.

RELIABLE FLEXIBILITY

The FX08 is based on our reliable 1U chassis and features an integrated eight-port PoE switch. The FX08 is IC Real Time's latest 4K version of the most reliable and affordable rack-mounted 8-channel NVR. The dedicated 8-port camera switch on the rear panel not only saves space in the rack, but also allows for easy plug-and-play camera installation.

This flexible unit fits into any situation. The FX08's rack ears are removable, so it can also fit on a closet shelf, locker or desk. However, since many businesses, schools and high-end homes are already wired with CAT5/6 and cable ducts that normally terminate in an equipment cabinet or rack cabinet, the FX08 is ideal. For any installation site where rack space is already available, such as high-end AV installations, retail shops and warehouses, or any business with rackmount networking or IP phone systems with PoE switches, the FX08 can be used anywhere a 1U network switch can fit.

AI-SUPPORTED 8-CHANNEL 4K SOLUTION

Because installation convenience is meaningless without state-of-the-art performance, IC Realtime has equipped the FX08 with full 4K recording and 4K HDMI video output from the outset. The embedded industrial-grade Linux processor offers 128 Mbps throughput combined with an integrated 8-port 115 Watt PoE switch (max. 25.5 W on one port) and high compression H.265 video encoding. There are 2 SATAIII hard drive bays for a maximum of 16TB of onboard storage (2X 8TB) and a 4K HDMI output. FX08 records all 8 cameras at 1080P or 2 cameras at 4K resolution and is ONVIF (Profile S), CGI, SDK & P2P compatible.

The FX08 is part of IC Realtime's FlexSmartAi family, meaning it works with our AI and Deep Learning cameras to encode and record this camera-based data in the video stream of all IP camera ports. Camera-based Intelligent Motion Detection (IMD) uses a deep-learning algorithm that detects people and vehicles with up to 95% accuracy to reduce or eliminate false alarms. Intelligent Video System (IVS) cameras can be set up to detect abandoned or missing objects or areas with trip wires and intrusion detection. The FX08 records these violations and intrusions.

Scalable RACK & STACK PoE BLADE

As a standalone 8-channel 4K NVR, the FX08 offers unparalleled performance, but it's even better when paired with its brother, the IC Realtime NVR, in larger installations. Like its sister model, the rack-mountable 16-channel FX16POE-1U4K1 NVR, the FX08 can be used as a rack-mounted 8-channel "blade NVR & POE switch" in a distributed processing and video security system. Regardless of the number of cameras in a system, the system can be expanded to the required camera capacity by adding rack-mountable camera "nodes" in 8- and 16-channel increments and directly connected on-site "client" cameras without worrying about throughput and storage capacity. Each "node" in the system is a 16TB capacity NVR with two hard drives with a PoE switch in the chassis, a massive 128Mbps Linux-based processor core and a 1000Mbps network connection.

LICENCE-FREE PEACE OF MIND

The licence-free "Central Station" and the essential standby function of the cameras have never been so easily and freely available. IC Realtime has never charged annual IP licence fees - and never will. To ensure device and network security, all IC Realtime cameras and recorders are protected from cyber threats by multiple layers of authorisation and password protection. All network traffic is encrypted in both directions, so our devices now meet the latest UL CAP certification standards for networks.
