The high-end in-ceiling speaker with a defined dispersion angle of 80° was developed as a front speaker (L, R, center) for home audio systems and media rooms. The 6.5" bass-midrange chassis with a 1" coaxial waveguide in front of it ensures controlled sound dispersion and natural music reproduction even at high levels. Due to the directivity of the DE 200 CD, very good speech intelligibility can be achieved even in rooms with a high reverberation time.
The DE 200 CD has a three-part construction. First, the filigree mounting frame is installed in the ceiling or wall, then the loudspeaker chassis and the magnetic front grille are inserted. This allows reliable installation and revision even in difficult installation situations.
In rooms with different architectural areas, the DE 200 CD can be combined with the DE-X 200 CD and FZ 180 CD models to create homogeneous sound reinforcement systems.
