Description

The DE Plan 500 S® is a 2-way flat-panel transducer with a particularly slim design that is completely invisible when integrated into walls or ceilings. Thanks to the patented design principle of the DE Plan series, which achieves a homogeneous deflection of the flat diaphragm, the DE Plan 500 S has a wide transmission spectrum and a high efficiency.

de:shape®: the diaphragm of the DE Plan 500 S has an optimised contour with calculated edge distance distribution (patent pending). This minimises resonances and the high-frequency reproduction is extremely precise. The carefully tuned crossover ensures a warm, transparent sound.

The DE Plan 500 S is designed as a front and centre speaker in combination with subwoofers for home audio and media rooms. Its slim design allows it to be positioned to the side or under screens, even in confined spaces.

The DE Plan 500 S is installed from the front in hollow drywall and ceilings. For solid walls or concrete ceilings, the EGB Plan 500 S recessed enclosure is used. First the loudspeaker is mounted and then the radiating diaphragm is laminated with the supplied glass fibre fleece, filled and painted over with wall paint.
