The DE-X 170 Polar model is a heavy-duty, rimless 2-way loudspeaker with compact dimensions and a large linear transmission spectrum. Music and speech are reproduced with exceptional transparency and dynamics. Due to the optimal hemispherical dispersion characteristics, an even sound distribution in the room is achieved even with a small number of speakers.
The DE-X 170 Polar is constructed in three parts. First, the mounting frame is flush-mounted in the ceiling or wall and filled. Once the surface is finished, the loudspeaker chassis and the magnetic front grille are then inserted. This allows reliable installation and revision even in difficult installation situations.
