Description
The PA 2100 DSC is an audiophile Class-D multi-channel power amplifier with an integrated 8×8 DSP matrix and two slots for accommodating different input modules. The three model variants are equipped with balanced line inputs, unbalanced cinch inputs or 8-channel Dante module and can be expanded with a second input module. By combining two input modules, the power amplifier can be operated as an amplifier centre with mixed analogue and digital signal sources. Ground-lift switches per input channel pair and DIP switches for adjusting the input sensitivity per channel allow optimal adaptation to different signal sources.
The circuitry of the PA 2100 DSC is designed for very high sound quality and operational reliability with minimal heat generation. The generously dimensioned power supply unit with high filter capacities and our newly developed processor-controlled Class D power amplifier modules ensure very high efficiency and enormous power reserves. The Auto-On/Off function (switchable per channel) automatically switches inactive amplifier channels to a power-saving sleep mode. The power amplifier has an output power of 2 × 100 watts into 2 - 8 ohms or 1 × 200 watts into 4 -16 ohms in bridge mode; outputs 3 to 8 are available as balanced line outputs.
One or more power amplifiers of the PA-DSC series can be connected via Ethernet or USB and programmed on a PC using the browser-based LB AUDIO CONTROL app and operated via media controls. In addition to the 8×8 mixer matrix, the DSP offers ten fully parametric filters for each input and output, delay up to 2 sec. as well as compressors and limiters. We are happy to create project-specific presets on request.
For remote control, the amplifiers are equipped with a switch contact for on/off and channel-separated VCA inputs for external volume control. All outputs can be controlled independently or in groups. For this purpose, our WP-V and RP-V volume controls or the DV module for control via up/down contacts are provided. A fault in the power amplifier channels is output via the potential-free fault contact.
